Leadership the Hard Way: An Israeli Perspective

Cost: $50.00
Date: Thursday, May 1 2008
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Newton Marriott Hotel

The New England Israel Business Council (NEIBC) and Gadi Dvir, Intel Massachusetts General Manager and Fab 17 Plant Manager, are proud to host an evening with Dov Frohman, Founder of Intel Israel and Author (with Robert Howard) of "Leadership the Hard Way".

Mr. Frohman, a pioneer of Israeli high tech, argues that leadership cannot be taught but that it can be learned. As the founder and general manager of Intel Israel, for nearly thirty years, he created and led a highly successful organization (Approx. $2B in exports and 6,700 employees) in one of the most demanding and competitive industries and in one of the most challenging regions of the world.

Mr. Frohman will share his views of leadership as seen from the dynamic edge of the global economy and argue why leadership cannot be taught but can be learned. Expect an inspiring discussion on how to become a self taught leader in today's turbulent global economy and how a leader's international experience can benefit one's homeland. Part memoir, part manifesto, Mr. Frohman's book is an original - and refreshingly honest- take on the challenges of leadership in contemporary business. To learn more about Dr. Frohman and his book, visit www.leadershipthehardway.com.

Reservations are required.

Cost is $50 for members and $75 for non-members. Register online at www.neibc.org, e-mail info@neibc.org, or call 617-610-0077
